This study reveals that latent infection with T. gondii is associated with a lower risk of accidents among motorcycle riders, while CMV and HSV infections did not significantly difference between case than the control groups. Since this is the first study that assessed the association of latent infections among motorcycle riders, our results should be interpreted with caution; hence, further studies with a greater sample size should be recommended in this regard.本研究表明，刚地弓形虫（Toxoplasma gondii）潜伏感染与摩托车骑行者的事故发生风险降低存在显著相关性；而巨细胞病毒（Cytomegalovirus, CMV）与单纯疱疹病毒（Herpes simplex virus, HSV）的潜伏感染在病例组与对照组间未呈现显著差异。由于本研究是首项针对摩托车骑行者潜伏感染与事故关联的评估研究，因此对本研究结果的解读应持谨慎态度，据此建议后续开展更大样本量的相关研究。
