Data for: Survey data of COVID-19-related Knowledge, Risk Perceptions and Precautionary Behavior among Nigerians

The data were generated during the COVID-19 lockdown in the country through a survey distributed via an online questionnaire, assessing socio-demographic information (7 items), knowledge (5 items), information sources (1 item), risk perception (9 items), expected end of lockdown (1 item), and COVID-19 precautionary health behavior (10 items) , from 28th March to 4th April, 2020, gathering a total of 1,357 responses. A combination of purposive and snowball techniques helped to select the respondents via Whatsapp and Facebook from 180 cities/towns in the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria.本数据集采集于尼日利亚新冠疫情（COVID-19）封控阶段，于2020年3月28日至4月4日期间通过在线问卷发放开展调查，最终累计回收有效应答1357份。问卷评估内容涵盖社会人口学信息（7个条目）、新冠相关知识（5个条目）、信息来源（1个条目）、风险感知水平（9个条目）、封控预期结束时间（1个条目）以及新冠防控健康行为（10个条目）。研究采用目的抽样（purposive sampling）与滚雪球抽样（snowball sampling）相结合的抽样策略，通过Whatsapp及Facebook平台，从该国6个地理政治区域的180个城镇中招募受访者。
