Wool spinning

Annotated video showing how women fix the fleece bundle before spinning. Then, three forms to spin the wool are presented according to the region. The general way is the siksi spindle. Salasaka women have developed two additional more sophisticated spinning process, either to obtain a softer yarn called mini or to get a more twisted product, known as shayuk yarn. This differentiation is made with the purpose to use the resulting yarn to weave their clothes in the loom.
