We provide the raw optical absorption spectra of a congruent LiNbO3 sample, recorded near the absorption edge during heating in air (in-situ mode). These measurements were taken using a Perkin Elmer Lambda900 spectrometer at Clausthal University of Technology. The spectra are provided in the form of the absorption coefficient α(E) (in cm⁻¹) as a function of phonon energy (in eV) at temperatures ranging from room temperature up to 1200°C, in 200K increments.
