Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fastest growing cause of cancer-related mortality with limited therapies. While endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-stress and the unfolded protein response (UPR) are implicated in HCC, the involvement of the UPR-transducer activating transcription factor 6 alpha (ATF6a) remains unclear. We isolated CD45+ cells from livers of wild type and hepatocyte-specific nATF6 overexprerssion mice for scRNAseq to decrible the the immune cell population. Overall design: In total 8 samples were included, 4 from wild type mice and 4 from ATF6 transgenic mice.
