This study aimed to investigate Kupffer cell (KC) heterogeneity during visceral leishmaniasis. Mice were intravenously infected with 3x10^6 L. infantum. Leukocytes were isolated from naive and 42-day infected livers after collagenase and Percoll purification, and live, single, CD45.2+F4/80+CD11bintCD64+ cells were sorted and used for single-cell RNA sequencing.
