Risk of accident, crossing

The incident risk, junction category of the Wizard system belongs under the accident dataset of the accident register. The target category of accident risk, junction was in the road register as TL 232 Accident Register, junction. The risk of joining means the predicted number of accidents and deaths per 100 billion incoming vehicles.
The data is produced centrally by VTT for road interconnectors. Accident forecasts are made by combining accident history and accident models according to Tarva’s principles. In practice, the forecast is the same as the number of accidents in Tarva’s current state without measures.
