This repository provides MATLAB code for a one-dimensional morphodynamic model of a Y-shaped river bifurcation based on the energy-balance assumption at the node. The model simulates water discharge partitioning, sediment transport, and bifurcation stability under varying hydraulic and geometric conditions. The model builds upon existing one-dimensional bifurcation models but based on equal-water-level assumption (Gao et al., 2023).
