This study aims to elucidate the multi-scale effects and mechanisms of Ecological Water Replenishment (EWR) on bacterial communities along an urban-rural gradient, assessing its role in reshaping diversity, community assembly, network stability, and metabolic functions to inform optimized restoration strategies for degraded river ecosystems.
