The goals of this study were to determine differential gene expression between Achromobacter xylosoxidans clinical isolate Ax 7 in a synthetic artificial sputum media compared to a rich media control (LB). Bacterial overnights of Ax 7 were subcultured into SCFM2 or LB and grown until stationary phase (10e10-10e11 CFU/mL) and RNA was extracted for gene expression analysis.
