CMAPSS (Commercial Modular Aero-Propulsion System Simulation) is an aircraft engine simulation dataset developed by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). It is primarily used for research in Remaining Useful Life (RUL) prediction, fault diagnosis, and health monitoring.CMAPSS contains four subsets (FD001-FD004), each comprising training data and test data. The training data records the complete degradation progression of engines from normal operation to failure. The test data contains only partial operational data. Each data point includes the Engine ID, operational cycles, sensor readings (such as Temperatures, Pressures, Rotational Speeds, etc.), and the true Remaining Useful Life (RUL).
