Agricultural irrigation in arid loess regions raises groundwater levels and promotes salt accumulation. Dry-wet cycles further exacerbate surface salt accumulation, resulting in soil salinization that poses a significant threat to cropland quality and infrastructure safety. This study used artificially salinized loess to conduct soil column tests under different dry-wet cycles and salinity conditions. It analyzed evaporation characteristics, water-salt migration, and structural degradation mechanisms.
