WMS — Middle groundwater formation

The data set contains the mean groundwater regeneration modeled with the water balance model ArcEGMO based on observed and projected precipitation for the future. The new groundwater formation in the solid rock area is defined as a slow groundwater drain and in the loose rock area as the sum of slow and fast groundwater drainage. Data source is the water balance portal. For the local reference, the plausibility of the values must be checked against the user. In principle, for projected values, the scenario character of the mean values shown for groundwater regeneration must be taken into account. Due to the real climate changes, the values shown in the map can be exceeded in the future on the basis of a climate scenario.
