资源简介:
Raw data underlying publication "Impact of extracellular vesicles from various species of Candida fungi on the cross-species interactions with human epithelial cells". The Version of Record of the article is published in Archives of Microbiology, and is available online at https://doi.org/10.1007/s00203-026-04713-z
Raw quantitative datasets include measurements of fungal adhesion to A-431 and CAL 27 epithelial cell lines in the presence of extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, and Nakaseomyces glabratus. The datasets also encompass analyses of epithelial and fungal cell viability and metabolic activity following exposure to fungal EVs, assessed by LDH release and XTT reduction assays after 24-hour incubation with EVs from the respective species. In addition, the data document molecular interaction studies examining EV binding to the C. albicans agglutinin-like sequence protein 3 (Als3) and human E-cadherin, quantified using bio-layer interferometry. Furthermore, the datasets include quantitative measurements of the association of CFSE-labeled EVs with hyphal forms of C. albicans, comparing wild-type and Als3-deficient mutant strains.
