HELIOS-R

HELIOS - R represents a systematic effort to inventory and preserve the seismological heritage of Romania. At this point the inventory is covering a seismic network consisting of six key stations: Timișoara (TIM), Șușara (SSR), Gura Zlata (GZR), Buziaș (BZS), Banloc (BANR) și Șiria (SIRR). The inventory includes over 45,000 records, rigorously organized by chronological criteria and the types of instruments used, providing a unique perspective on regional seismic activity between 1977 and 2007. The structure of the inventory is designed to facilitate advanced research, including essential technical details: the type of instruments used, recording parameters, and an assessment of the physical preservation state of the records. This inventory serves as a fundamental resource for future digitization projects. In this regard, the authors of this catalogue can provide scanned seismograms upon request to interested parties. The files are organised for each instrument that was in function for every station.
