Data files for the work "Dynamical Scarring from Scrambling in Two Dimensional Topological Materials". Included are dat files with data for the OTOCs organised by folders, as well as videos of some of the data. The titles of the folders refer first to the model (Kitaev or Kane-Mele "km"), which system (shape, domain wall "dw", for Kitaev the invariant nu is given with "1-" meaning nu=1 with delta=-1), location of the perturbation j_0, and then the time step deltat. Inside each folder are dat filkes for each time step with (x,y,C). x,y are coordinates and C is the OTOC. The filenames refer to parameter, perturbation type, site index of j_0, and finally time step. edge_velocity contains estimates for the positions of the OTOC scar on the edge extracted by various methods. n is the system size and the range is the time range. The four columns in the dat files are (position of the point with the highest OTOC value, the interpolated position of the peak and 2 closest neighbours on both sides, the "center of mass" averaging all positions with OTOCs as weights, the position of the wavefront with the cutoff level being the mean OTOC value of the entire edge).
