The Advanced BRain Imaging on ageing and Memory (ABRIM) data collection: Study design, data processing, and rationale [dataset]

The present data sharing collection includes a minimal dataset which solely supports the replication of the demographic results presented in the manuscript, "The Advanced BRain Imaging on ageing and Memory (ABRIM) data collection: Study design, data processing, and rationale".

Note that this manuscript additionally describes the release of the MRI and behavioural data associated with the ABRIM study. Specifically, the present minimal dataset contains data regarding age, age categories, self-reported biological sex, and educational attainment for participants involved in the MRI study (n = 295), those participating solely in the behavioral part (n = 108), and those from whom actigraphy measures were obtained (n = 120).

The following age categories were included: 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80 years old.

The International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED-11) was employed to classify educational attainment into three levels: low education (early childhood, primary, and lower secondary education, ISCED 0-2), medium education (upper secondary and post-secondary non-tertiary education, ISCED 3-4), and high education (short cycle tertiary education, bachelor, master, and doctoral or equivalent education, ISCED 5-8).
