Canadian Gallup Poll, July 1988, #807_2

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly sexual lifestyle and health issues. The questions ask opinions about the frequency of sexual encounters, sexual orientation and other general health issues. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as military conflict in the Persian Gulf, farming and smoking habits. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: allowing farmers special government assistance; the number of wasted government tax dollars; the attendance of out-patient or sexually transmitted disease and special (venereal disease) medical clinics; degrees of consumption of alcohol and cigarettes; extra-marital affairs and sex for money; both heterosexual and homosexual habits of sexual intercourse; knowledge of military hostilities in the Persian Gulf; medical conditions including arthritis, bronchitis, diabetes, hemophilia and epilepsy; opinions on the persistence of current drought; United States naval activity and downing of Iranian plane; and prescription and intravenous drug use.
