In this study, we aim to reveal novel genes, and get the basal EST data information of Agropyron cristatum by illumina paired-end RNA sequencing technology. Meanwhile, de novo transcriptome sequences of Agropyron cristatum were applied for the compatrative genomics analysis among Triticeae grasses, the marker development of polymorphic EST-SSR of P genome, and P chromosome specific molecular marker in common wheat genetic background.
