Number of employees in Beijing, China 2008-2022

In 2022, the total number of employees officially recorded in Beijing municipality in China amounted to approximately 10.53 million people. As the local government in Beijing in 2017 announced plans to limit the population in the city to 23 million until 2035, employment numbers will most probably not continue the relatively high growth trend from years before 2017.
