Main river basins — Dataset

On the information layer of the HYDROGRAFICI BACINI on a national scale 1:250,000, consistent with the hydrographic grid, were identified, in accordance with Legislative Decree 152/99, the water catchment areas of the watercourses at sea with an area greater than or equal to 200 km² and the sub-basins relating to the streams of the I order also with an area greater than or equal to 200 km². A database with the hydrological data characteristic of each basin shall be associated with the cartography of the river basins.
