Historical Imagery 1989\n\nCurrent and\nhistoric imagery form an important part of the NSW Foundation Spatial Data\nFramework and provide a valuable resource which is widely accessed by\ngovernment and the broader community on a daily basis. As the completeness of\nthis data base continues, its market demand also increases across a broad range\nof applications.\n\nSpatial Services\naerial imagery was originally captured using a variety of cameras including the\nWild RC-5, RC-10 and Leica RC-30 cameras with a variety of lenses with focal\nlengths of 88mm, 153mm and 304mm. Images were captured in monochrome or colour\nduring this period at a range of scales. Capture scales ranged from 1:5 000 to\n1:80 000.\n\nThe Historical Air\nPhoto Enhancement program (HAPE) not only allows the capability to search,\ndiscover and use source imagery, but also provides the delivery and viewing of\nenhanced historic rectified imagery mosaics. This new development means the\ncommunity at large can now access and utilise spatially accurate historic\nimagery:\n\n1. Through\nthe Historical Imagery Viewer\n\n2.
