Seaweed in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea 2000-06-15 (GK)

Aircraft mapping of seagrass meadows since 1991 as part of the Trilateral Monitoring Programme (TMAP). 2 density classes of closed stocks are recorded. The identification of the surfaces from the sports aircraft is only possible from about 25% coverage, Zostera nana and Z. marina are not differentiated. The results are entered in maps according to the observations, and the positional inaccuracies are greater for remote stocks. Similar, but differing, mappings from 1989 and 1990 are available in the context of ecosystem research in Schleswig-Holstein's Wadden Sea.
