The price of gasoline per liter was surveyed nationwide, resulting in an average price of 176 yen in October 2024. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a total of 118 months), the month with the highest gasoline price among supermarkets nationwide was September 2023 at 185 yen, while the month with the lowest gasoline price was March 2016 at 111 yen. The price difference between the peak (September 2023) and the lowest (March 2016) periods for gasoline across all national areas was 73.6667 yen.
