SAFETY SYSTEM FOR A MACHINE TOOL

A safety system is provided for a machine tool， having a tool， having a clamping device， arranged movably on a frame of the machine tool， for the tool. The clamping device is movable by a movement device from a working position， in which the tool can be used for working and in which the tool poses a risk of injury to a user， into a safety position， in which the tool poses substantially no risk of injury to the user. The movement device has at least two equally or oppositely magnetized and/or magnetizable magnetic means， of which at least a first magnetic means is connected to or arranged on the tool and at least one second magnetic means is connected to or arranged on the frame， such that the movement of the tool by the movement device from the working position into the safety position can be triggered and/or at least partially performed by magnetic force.
