This project employs RNA-seq to investigate the global transcriptional changes in engineered strains of Aspergillus nidulans overexpressing the transcription factor msnA. Our study aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which msnA overexpression reprograms cellular metabolism, enhances vesicle-mediated transport, and downregulates secondary metabolism to boost recombinant protein secretion. The findings provide fundamental insights into fungal cell factory optimization and identify key targets for strain engineering across Aspergillus strains.
