Topological materials hold promise in quantum information processing as a fault tolerant basis for operations and manipulations of quasiparticles that exist at the material boundaries.An important class of topological states are the so-called Majorana bound states (MBS), which are predicted to exist at the ends of one-dimensional p-wave superconductors.To reach the topological phase, an external magnetic field is used to lift the spin degeneracy in these SE-SU systems, which brings even a larger challenge for realizing scalable quantum-computing platforms. Therefore, it is of interest to integrate materials that are intrinsically topological, ideally without the need for external applied fields. Polarized neutron reflectometry (PNR) is a powerful technique able to provide structural information which will open a new field in the pursue for topological superconducting materials.
