Analysis of Descriptive Metadata of Public Data in the Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury (ODC-TBI) as of June 2025

Analysis of public datasets published as of June 2025 on the Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury for presence of high level metadata and the use of Common Data Elements (CDEs) for preclinical traumatic brain data. We also examined citation practices for ODC-TBI datasets in the literature. These datasets are described in a publication submitted to a special issue of the Journal of Neurotrauma, describing the ODC-TBI data sharing platform.
