Dataset descriptionThis dataset contains transect-based observations of all tree individuals ≥ 50 cm tall recorded in burned tropical peat swamp forests on the Kampar Peninsula, Sumatra, Indonesia. Sampling designData were collected along 34 transects (100 × 10 m) across two post-fire restoration sites (Makmur and Sangar) in 2025. VariablesThe dataset includes species identity, site, size measurements, and establishment classification for strangler fig individuals, together with records of hosts for epiphytic establishment.
