Russia (2013): TRaC study to assess the effect of the GFATM-sponsored HIV prevention program among men who have sex with men in seven regions of Russia. Round 3.

This study aims to monitor changes in the key program indicators and assess the effect of the GFATM-sponsored HIV prevention program among the target population, men who have sex with men (MSM). Key indicators include: condom use at last anal sex with a male partner, testing for HIV in the past year and knowing the result, and receipt of at least one condom from LaSky within the past year and knowing where to test for HIV. Additionally, exposure to CSDI activities will be estimated to track coverage of the target group by program activities. This study involves human subjects as respondents in a cross-sectional survey for the purpose of monitoring trends in key behaviors and exposure to program activities. RDS is used to sample the hard-to-reach population of MSM.
