Gladstone Region Disaster Recovery #1 - Revegetation, Debris Removal, Weed Control

Gladstone Region Disaster Recovery Project 1 will monitor and measurably improve the aquatic ecosystems, including wetlands and sensitive coastal environments of the Boyne River including Gladstone Port, its islands, and the Southern Barrier Reef. It will: (i) remediate areas of specific marine and terrestrial ecosystems impacted by disaster; and (ii) objectively assess, document and monitor the culturally significant areas adjacent to the heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, including locating and surveying shell middens and burial sites.格拉德斯通地区灾后恢复项目1（Gladstone Region Disaster Recovery Project 1）将对水生生态系统开展监测工作，并可量化地提升其生态健康水平，涵盖博因河（Boyne River）的湿地与敏感沿海环境，包括格拉德斯通港（Gladstone Port）、其附属岛屿以及南屏障礁（Southern Barrier Reef）。该项目将完成以下工作：(i) 修复受灾害影响的特定海洋与陆地生态系统区域；(ii) 对列入遗产名录的大堡礁海洋公园（Great Barrier Reef Marine Park）周边具有文化重要性的区域开展客观评估、记录与监测，包括定位并勘察贝冢遗址（shell middens）与墓葬遗址。
