Generating human motor neurons (MNs) can be achieved by culturing inducible pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) with chemical stimuli, to mimic in vivo neurogenesis. Neural induction is driven by the silencing of pluripotency, and neural conversion promotes caudal identity patterning and ventralization. Throughout differentiation we analyzed the 5 time points over 28 days of transcriptomic profiles of iPSCs, neural stem cells, motor neuron progenitors, early motor neurons, and MNs.
