Update of the census of discharges from land to sea (year 2017)

Articles 254 and 254 bis of Royal Decree 849/1986, of 11 April, approving the Regulation of the Public Water Domain, which develops preliminary titles I, IV, V, VI and VII of Law 29/1985 of 2 August 1985 on Waters, establish the need for river basin agencies to carry out a census of authorised discharges, including discharges from land to sea according to the data provided by the autonomous communities. The census refers only to authorised discharges, and each year, before 31 March, information on land-to-sea discharges authorised on 31 December of the previous year is sent to the Ministry responsible for the environment.
