Processing properties of the blown film grade LLDPE FB4230

Excel spreadsheets containing information on physical properties of the polymer grade LLDPE FB4230 for blown packaging films at process-relevant conditions. These include: measured shear viscosities as a function of shear rate, temperature and pressure up to 1200 bar (numeric values) measured specific volumes as a function of temperature and pressure in solid and molten state (numeric values) rheological and thermodynamic material models for extrusion simulations(equations and coefficients) The viscosity data at low shear rates (<3/s) were recorded on a parallel-plate rotational rheometer under steady shear, while the values at higher shear rates (<5/s) were obtained on a high-pressure capillary rheometer. For generating the data at elevated pressures (>200 bar) at process-relevant shear rates, the capillary rheometer was additionally equipped with a counter-pressure chamber. The densities were measured on the same capillary rheometer with a toggle clamp for locking the die outlet.
