This study aims to identify genes regulated by Hnf4a in developing nephrons. In the mouse kidney, Osr2Cre efficiently deletes the Hnf4a flox allele and targets all nephron tubules except distal tubules. To investigate gene expression changes, we performed bulk RNA-seq on Osr2Cre-targeted cells from Hnf4a mutant and control kidneys. Overall design: Osr2Cre activated Rosa26 Ai3 reporter and deleted Hnf4a in the developing mouse kidney. Rosa26-Ai3 reporter-positive cells from the mouse kidney at E18.5 were FACS-isolated and subjected to bulk RNA-seq
