The article reveals the socio-pedagogical possibilities of educating adolescents on the basis of cultural values in the context of globalization and transformation of modern society. The importance of cultural values in the formation of a teenager’s personality, his worldview and social behavior is considered. The influence of the sociocultural environment and global processes on the educational system is analyzed. The necessity of using national and universal cultural values in the educational process as an important direction of modern pedagogical science is substantiated.
