Data and Scripts for Influence of particle and transport effects on Pa/Th sensitivity to AMOC
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the code and processed model output underlying the sensitivity analysis of sedimentary Pa/Th ratios to Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) changes presented in Testorf et al. (submitted to Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology). Simulations were performed with the Bern3D Earth system model across three climate states: the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), Marine Isotope Stage 3 (MIS 3), and the Pre-Industrial (PI). The archive includes: Processing scripts (scripts) for tracer budget decomposition, residence-time calculation, and figure reproduction (Python, Jupyter, Bash).Derived NetCDF data (data) comprising Pa/Th sensitivity indices normalised by AMOC change (alpha_amoc/), un-normalised sensitivity indices (alpha_easy/), decomposed tracer budget terms, residence-time fields, and observational dissolved and particulate Pa and Th data from the GEOTRACES programm, as well as Pa/Th core-top data (van Hulten et al., 2018) used for calibration of the model.Publication figures (figures) in PDF format. The Python environment required to run the scripts is specified in requirements.txt. Processing additionally requires CDO and NCO command-line tools.
