Rotunde

The Rotunde Dataset was developed by the Spatial Cognition Research Center at the University of Bremen, Germany, focusing on the domain of intelligent cinematographic coverage of meetings. This dataset encompasses RGB and depth data, human skeletal data, as well as high-level declarative models generated from raw data for further analysis and reasoning. During its creation, emphasis was laid on computational narrativization, semantic summarization, and perceptual narration from the perspective of visual spatial cognition. Application areas of the Rotunde Dataset include security monitoring, health monitoring, and assisted living in smart homes, with the goal of enhancing the efficiency and quality of meeting and symposium recording by automatically documenting and interpreting professional interactions.
