Salt Stockpile Inventory - January 24 to 27, 2023- INDOT Lebanon Salt Facility

<p>Indiana Department of Transportation is evaluating the use of LiDAR technology to monitor the salt stockpile volumes. During the 2022-2023 winter season, technology was implemented to capture preseason and postseason volumes at over 120 stockpile locations statewide. Images are used to support the LiDAR digital surface models to validate the volumes. Scans were performed each time the snowplows returned to restock in order to determine salt use throughout the storm.  This time lapse shows 21 images collected during the period January 24<sup> </sup>to 27, 2023.</p>
