资源简介:
The information constitutes SPSS version data sets that were conducted to evaluate the effect of diets containing Lemna minor feed inclusion levels from 0-25% on the male Oreochromis niloticus reproductive characteristics. The study embraced a null hypothesis that the L.minor diets did not have any significant effects on the male reproductive characteristics. Findings reveal that the Mean GSIs of fish fed with Lemna minor diets at 10%-25% inclusion levels were generally higher than those of the controls. Male fish fed on diets containing 10% and 15% Lemna minor had higher milt volumes than those fed the control diet while the motile to non-motile sperm cells ratio increased with higher inclusion levels of L. minor in the diet. The study concluded that the L. minor diets are cost-effective alternatives to expensive commercial fish feeds in Southwest Kenya's Lake Victoria region for quality fingerling production.
