VPRS 11752 Sub-Committee Minutes

This series constitutes the minutes of sub-committee meetings. Sub-committees were set up by the Totalisator Agency Board to deal with certain matters that the Board considered appropriate for them to deal with. Each sub-committee had to report back to the Board.This series contains the minutes of two sub-committees: The Property Sub-Committee and the Tabaret / Delta Sub-committee.The Property sub-committee was set up to deal with negotiations of property leases of the Boards properties and it had the power to negotiate the terms and conditions of leases for submission to the Board. Volume two of the minutes contains the sub-committees terms of reference.The Tabaret Delta sub-committee was set up to have responsibility for control over the two projects and make recommendations to the Board.Tabaret was the gambling facility set up prior to the granting of Victorias first casino licence. The Tabaret closed once the first casino opened.Delta was to be the replacement computerised wagering system. Delta was intended to allow all bets placed to be recorded on a central computer. The Delta system was never implemented.
