资源简介:
This dataset contains 14 time series of stem radial displacement as measured at breast height in a group of six New Zealand-grown Pinus radiata D. Don. trees. Each stem was equipped with a minimum of two automatic point-dendrometers to characterize the anisotropy and the temporality of the radial growth process. The data was collected at Scion nursery in Rotorua at a 5-minute interval for 128 consecutive days in summer and early autumn of 2018.The data shows that there is a large variation in the seasonal growth increment depending on circumferential position in five out of the six tree specimens. Data also supports the general view that growth activity is synchronous within and across trees but also arrhythmic (i.e. frequently interrupted).
