Schizosaccharomyces versatilis type strain CBS 103 genome sequencing and assembly

In this BioProject, the genome of the type strain of the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces versatilis was sequenced using multiple cutting-edge sequencing technologies (Nanopore Ultra-long sequencing, PacBio HiFi sequencing, and Illumina short-read sequencing) and assembled into the near telomere-to-telomere level.
