A price survey conducted at supermarkets in Yokosuka City revealed that the average price of 1 kg of lemons in December 2016 was 755 yen. This is 40 yen cheaper than the national average of 795 yen. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (over the past 24 months), the highest price for lemons at supermarkets within Yokosuka City was in September 2016, at 769 yen, while the lowest price was in January 2015, at 564 yen. The price difference between the peak and trough periods for lemons in the Yokosuka City area, with the highest price in September 2016 and the lowest in January 2015, is 40 yen.
