Sonic boom direct wave/ground reflection data from the OSIRIS-REx Sample Return Capsule reentry recorded on free flying balloons

This dataset consists of pressure time series and balloon trajectories during the 2023 September 24 reentry of the OSIRIS-REx Sample Return Capsule. The latitudes, longitudes, and altitudes of the balloons are specified with a time stamp in UTC. Pressure data on each balloon were recorded on two channels: CDF1 and CDF2. Each channel consists of data recorded on an InfraBSU microbarometer. Channel CDF1 has standard pressure polarity. Channel CDF2 has reversed pressure polarity (e. g. a rise in pressure creates a negative value, and vice versa). This dataset is in support of a manuscript for submission to Geophysical Research Letters. If the manuscript is accepted for publication, this Zenodo record will be updated with the relevant citation information.
