资源简介:

Title: A Multiregional Functional Ultrasound Dataset of Brain Responses to Innocuous and Noxious Mechanical Stimulation in Awake Mice This dataset contains functional ultrasound (fUS) imaging data acquired across three coronal planes, alongside simultaneous fiber photometry recordings, from awake mice subjected to graded mechanical stimulation. The imaging planes sample multiple cortical, thalamic, and brainstem regions involved in sensorimotor processing and pain modulation, including the somatosensory cortex (hindlimb region, S1HL), motor cortex (M), anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), paraventricular thalamus (PVT), ventral posterolateral nucleus (VPL), ventral posteromedial nucleus (VPM), and anterior pretectal nucleus (APT). Experiments were conducted on 8 awake adult mice, with imaging data acquired across three coronal planes (anterior to posterior) under 6 graded von Frey filament stimulations (ranging from innocuous to noxious). The functional ultrasound imaging parameters include a spatial resolution of 100 μm and a temporal resolution of 3.57 Hz. Simultaneous fiber photometry recordings captured calcium signals from the S1HL and APT brain regions during mechanical stimulation. The dataset includes raw fUS images, stimulation timestamps synchronized with fUS recordings, brain atlas overlays for each mouse and coronal plane, ROI masks for signal extraction, MATLAB processing scripts, preprocessed ΔF/F₀ hemodynamic signals, ROI-averaged time-series, functional connectivity matrices (Pearson correlation), and fiber photometry calcium signals. All time-series data are stored in MATLAB-compatible .mat format, with correlation matrices stored as 2D arrays. Data were acquired using a functional ultrasound imaging system developed by the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, at a sampling rate of 3.57 Hz. The acquisition took place in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China. All data were processed using MATLAB 2024a with custom scripts. Hemodynamic signals were normalized to baseline (ΔF/F₀) for analysis, and functional connectivity was assessed using Pearson correlation between ROI-averaged time-series.
