Engine-Transfer-Bench: Corpus, Multi-OS Results, and Harness

Engine-Transfer-Bench (ETB) is an open benchmark for multi-engine document compilation evaluation (pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX, Tectonic, Typst). This deposit includes the 1,784-document seed corpus with license metadata, host-tagged multi-OS results from a full GitHub Actions campaign (N=4,211 compiles per host on macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows), analysis summaries, the compilation harness including the public cross-OS workflow, and the ETB-Porta recommender evaluation. Central finding: Tectonic success rates are stable within 0.9 percentage points across platforms (96.3–97.2%), while classic TeX Live-style engines swing 12–20 points with distribution policy.
