e-LOI (Electronic Letter of Interpretation) Footprint of Disturbance Boundaries in New Jersey

This data can be used to review pending or issued determinations of wetland boundaries and associated transition areas as well as site boundaries and footprint of disturbance boundaries approved by NJDEP LRP. The data can aid members of the public in identifying surveyed boundaries of protected areas for freshwater wetlands and transition areas. This data can also be used for planning purposes regarding permitting projects being submitted to the Division of Land Resource Protection. This data is verified in field and is a more accurate representation of a wetland boundary at the time of issuance than the State-wide land use classification “wetland” layer. However, a field verification is limited to the boundary of the site during an application.
