Hieracium piloselloides subsp. praealtum Transcriptome or Gene expression

Hieracium (Asteraceae) is a model system for studying the molecular components of gametophytic apomixis (asexual seed reproduction). There is no reference genome for this genus and its transcriptome information is limited. Reproductive tissues covering various seed development stages of an apomictic accession, its derivative mutant accession incapable of parthenogenesis and another apomictic accession used to pollinate the mutant accession were sampled and RNA extracted. cDNA libraries were prepared and sequenced on Illumina's HiSeq 2000 platform. The resulting RNAseq data were 100bp paired-end reads.
