Migratory birds play a critical role in the long-distance transmission of influenza A virus (IAV), posing potential threats to human health and the safety of livestock production. However, comprehensive datasets focused on the migratory networks of IAV-associated migratory birds remain scarce, which hinders the assessment of viral transmission risks and the development of effective prevention and control strategies. In this study, we developed a comprehensive dataset by integrating literature-based data and Movebank tracking records, with a focus on key nodes in the migratory networks of IAV-associated migratory birds. This dataset contains 10,088 migratory route records covering 101 species of IAV-associated migratory birds. Using ArcGIS and Gephi tools, we calculated the betweenness centrality values of each node in the migratory networks to quantify their importance in the networks and identify key nodes. This dataset will serve as a valuable resource for analyzing migratory bird networks, assessing IAV transmission risks, and formulating ecological conservation strategies.
